Privacy policy

This notice explains what Arivaa collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, mobile number and delivery address.
• When you pay: nothing. Card and UPI details go directly to Razorpay and never reach our servers. We store only the payment reference Razorpay returns.
• When you browse: a cookie holding a random identifier, a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page you landed on, and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

Why

• To take, pack, deliver and invoice your order, and to handle returns.
• To tell which of our posts and campaigns actually lead to orders. This is the only reason we track visits.
• To meet our obligations under tax law, which requires us to keep invoice records.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Who else sees it

• Razorpay processes payments and receives what it needs to do so.
• Our delivery partner receives your name, address and phone number so the parcel can arrive.
• Our hosting and email providers hold the data as part of running the site.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for eight years, which is what tax law requires. Visit records are kept for two years. A carrier bag left unattended is cleared after 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent for visit tracking at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We set two cookies: one to keep your session working, and one holding a random identifier used for the attribution described above. Declining the second one leaves the shop fully usable.
